Techno-Speech, Inc. (headquarters: Higashi-ku, Nagoya; Representative Director: Keiichiro Oura, hereinafter "Techno-Speech") announces that, for the singing voice synthesis app "VoiSona," it will begin offering "iOS-Exclusive Voice Libraries" worldwide on October 6, 2026. These voice libraries can be purchased within the iPhone/iPad version of the app and used directly on iPhone and iPad.

[Everything from purchase to use, handled by your Apple Account]
The iPhone/iPad version of "VoiSona" lets you enjoy singing voice synthesis on the iPhone or iPad you already carry, with no PC or DAW required. The app itself and two voice libraries, "Chis-A" (Japanese) and "Chis-A [tʃíːseɪ]" (Cross-Lingual), are free to use.
"iOS-Exclusive Voice Libraries" can be purchased from within the iPhone/iPad version of VoiSona using your Apple Account. There is no need to register an account or complete a payment procedure on our website: you can buy a voice library and start creating with the same ease as using any app from the App Store. Each "iOS-Exclusive Voice Library" is a one-time purchase with no monthly fee: USD 24.99, which is less than one third of the price of a standard license for PC (13,200 JPY, tax included, on voisona.com). Prices differ by country and region, so please check the App Store for the price in your area.
The iOS price is lower, but the voice libraries themselves are identical to those for the PC version, so you can enjoy the same quality of singing voice on iPhone and iPad as on a PC. You can confirm that quality before you buy, using the feature that lets you try any voice library you have not purchased for 10 seconds. Listen to a range of voice libraries, then pick up the one you like right then and there.

"iOS-Exclusive Voice Libraries" will be released simultaneously on the App Store in countries and regions around the world. At launch, 26 titles are available, including the free voice libraries, covering not only Japanese but also English and Chinese.
[Comment from Keiichiro Oura, Representative Director]
Listening to music, making it, and sharing it all happen on the smartphone in our hands today. And yet, enjoying singing voice synthesis has generally meant sitting down at a PC. We prepared a form that is complete on an iPhone or iPad alone because we wanted to set that assumption aside, just once. On the train to school, or lying in bed, you can have a melody you have just thought of sung back to you on the spot. With the same ease as humming to yourself, we want everyone to be able to work with a singing voice, regardless of country, gender, or age.
I would add that the voice libraries for "VoiSona" are built solely from data for which the rights have been properly cleared, such as recordings made with the permission of the rights holders. We do not use data gathered from the internet as training material without permission, nor do we use generative AI models whose training sources cannot be accounted for. An Android version is also in active development.

[About VoiSona]
"VoiSona" is a singing voice synthesis software that realistically reproduces human singing voices using the latest technology. The name "VoiSona" combines "Voice," meaning sound, and "Persona," meaning personality or charm, reflecting the goal of expressing diverse personalities through voice. The software supports both voice providers and creators, aiming to create a mutually beneficial ecosystem.
Based on the singing voice synthesis technology that Techno-Speech has built up over many years, the software is available on Windows, macOS, iOS, and iPadOS with VSTi/Audio Units support, making it easier to use and capable of meeting professional needs. It comes with a default Japanese voice library called "Chis-A" with a neutral tone. A simple standalone application is also included, so it can be used by those who do not have a DAW that supports VSTi/Audio Units. Audio waveform data output using "VoiSona" and "Chis-A" can, with some exceptions, generally be used free of charge by individuals and corporations alike, for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
